Fun and Playful Lazy Eye Patching
The eye with weaker vision is called amblyopic or lazy. To fix amblyopia, the child needs to be encouraged to use the lazy eye. This is usually done by covering the stronger eye so the weaker one starts working.
Children often don't like having their eye covered, so successful treatment depends on how well we can convince the child to wear the patch. This difficult period can be made easier for the child by making patching playful and fun.

The fully obscured patch differs from the simple one because it has more room for the eyelid, doesn't press on the eyelashes and the edges follow the shape of the child's face. The pirate patch is for children who don't wear glasses.

Ingridia's work is simply amazing! She crafted a beautifully designed, high-quality eye patch that made a big difference for my little girl. Ingridia was incredibly kind and responsive throughout the process, even during the busy holiday season. We couldn't be happier with the result - thank you for making this experience so special! Highly recommend!
